Zero Suicide Alliance (ZSA)

Short training modules are offered by ZSA, an updated one which takes in consideration the impact of COVID-19 and social isolation and another module on suicide prevention.

The modules were created by NHS Health England, so some of the link advertised will signpost you to English support organisations but we have included a list of their Scottish counterparts if you wish to seek out more information with local organisations.

The Subjective Units of Distress Scale also referred to as the Distress Thermometer allowed you to work out how to measure your feelings. It allows you to rate how you feel on a scale which can help mental health professionals with treatment or just give you an idea of how you’re feeling over a period of time. No matter where you feel you are on the scale you can always ask for help or discuss options.
