Are you the type of person who loves helping others and has a curious mind for how tech works, especially phones and internet? Gamma is on the lookout for three apprentice Technical Support Technicians to become the go-to expert for solving tech issues for their business partners, building up valuable tech skills along the way. The apprenticeship roles sit within Gamma Business and Gamma Enterprise, and Sanctuary Graduates will decide where your skill set is best suited.
Main purpose of role:
-In this role you will be the first point of contact for Gamma’s Business Partners; in Enterprise, you will work with Gamma’s biggest partners, and in Business, you will work with Gamma’s small-medium partners, both of which are vital departments for the success of the business.
-Your role in both will be to handle Gamma’s phone and internet products, and to provide support when Gamma’s business partners have queries or technical issues with them, also known as ‘tickets’.
-This could be anything from phone line faults to helping set up the technology. You will communicate with partners through different methods including calls, emails and webchats, becoming experts across these channels to deliver quick and effective support.
-The purpose of the apprentice positions is to develop your skills over time until you are able to move into a Junior Customer Support Technician position. As an apprentice you will be fully supported and, with guidance from your manager and team, will become independent in performing your role.
Key responsibilities:
You will be taught everything you need to know, especially the technical knowledge, however, as an apprentice, you can expect to:
-Build your technical understanding of Gamma’s phone and internet systems work.
-Learn to handle a large queue of tickets.
-Learn how Gamma work with other companies to set up internet connections and phone numbers for their partners.
-Have daily communication with Customers.
-Take ownership of your tasks and manage your workload while focusing on providing excellent support services.
-Working closely with your team members, team leaders, and more experienced colleagues to learn and get things done together.

-Has strong problem-solving skill, with an instinct to find the cause of issues and address them.

-Has a willingness to learn and adapt to new issues.
-Can organise information precisely and effectively.
To be successful in this role, you do not need any formal qualifications or experience.
Qualification you will gain:
-Customer Service Specialist level 3

Skills you will gain:
Upon completion of the apprenticeship, you will gain a diverse set of skills, including:
-Becoming an expert in Gamma products and systems to know how to resolve them.
-How to order and prioritise tickets so big issues are dealt with first.
-How to escalate issues or help resolve more complex setup problems or faults with guidance.
-The ability to be adaptable and learn new things as your team supports new products and ways of working.
-How you can contribute to improving the services Gamma provide and the processes they use as you develop in your role.
